Hi, I made two small extensions: 1) a semantic map point extension, which extends the mappoint extension by being able to retrieve the coordinates depicted in a geo referenced picture from a query. http://www.sensordatalab.org/wiki/index.php5/Extensions:Semantic_MapPoints
2) a different mechanism for the file upload: I am using a Subversion/WebDAV for uploading files into the MW and the little extension is able to reference and depict the information in the Subversion in the Image and Media namespace.
