As you know, we are about to include functions from your historical date, so 
that there will be just one date. I still guess that timeline cannot deal 
with dates that are historic yet.

None for now. Timeline was special because it is a lot of (JavaScript) code 
that is not maintained by the SMW Project. The code for the other formats in 
general is very simple, so we will probably just keep them for now, even 
though only "list" and "table" are really core.

We probably will soon add another format that is based on the Graph extension, 
and in a couple of months there might be integration of Simile Exhibit, which 
could offer an impressive dynamic way of viewing query results.
