The recent release of SMW 1.4.3 contained a typo with the unfortunate side- effect that the semantic data of a page will not be updated automatically if a template changes that is used on that page. Since this could cause data records to become outdated, we decided to backport the fix into the 1.4.3 release: updated files are found in SVN and on sourceforge. If you already installed SMW 1.4.3, it suffices to change the file [1] by downloading it and copying it into your SMW directory.
Thanks to Yaron for catching this bug so quickly.
