Hi Laurent,

I'm using the Semantic Forms extension but currently have some unexpected
behavior.

On the page for the book "Semantic_Web_Programming" (
http://halo.3kbo.com/index.php/Semantic_Web_Programming) the link to create an
Author goes to the normal page via the link

http://halo.3kbo.com/index.php?title=Andrew_Perez-Lopez&action=edit&redlink=1

while from the page for the property Was_written_by (
http://halo.3kbo.com/index.php/Property:Was_written_by )

the link goes to the correct page for creating an Author

http://halo.3kbo.com/index.php/Special:FormEdit/Author/Andrew_Perez-Lopez

Any ideas ?

Richard

You cannot constraint links to pages of a certain category.

The only way to come close to that would be to use the Semantic Forms extension
(you really should use it by default anyway :) ) and set it up to use an Author
form for Wanted links (or red links) associated with the 'Was written by'
property.

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Semantic Mediwiki. Currently I am in the process of setting
up a site [1] with a number of different documents types (each document type
mapping to an underlying Concept or Category) .

As a way of getting started I am following the Semantic Forms Example [2] which
creates Books and Authors and uses the property "Was written by", of type
"Page" to link a Book with its Author(s).

What is the best way to create a property that constrains the link just to
Authors, e.g. a property "written by", of type "Author" where only Author pages
are valid for the "written by" property?
