It is currently planned to release a new major version of SMW in late
April or early May. As planned in the roadmap, this version will provide
much better RDF store integration as its main new feature.

This requires some deeper changes in core parts of SMW (some of my
recent emails relate to this), which may call for some updates in
extensions as well -- as expected for a major release. I will keep you
posted. I will soon begin to commit related code to SVN, so some
incompatibilities might be there very soon.

Main consequences:
* SVN might become temporarily incompatible with some SMW extensions
* Thus, we will avoid further minor releases for SMW 1.5 based on trunk
(in emergency, we can backport bugfixes to SMW 1.5.6 instead).
* Extension developers should watch the semediawiki-devel list for
relevant information on required updates; we will try to keep it minimal.

Cheers,

Markus
