Yes. HaloACL derives SMWStore to filter protected properties. It uses 
getDBKeys() in the file HACL_SMWStore.

Yes, in the SMWHalo extension we have data types for chemical formulas 
and chemical equations, mathematical equations and values with SI units. 
The corresponding files are:
*SMW_DV_ChemEquation
*SMW_DV_ChemFormula
*SMW_DV_MathEquation
*SMW_DV_SI
