I had this on my radar before, but I do not think that SMW is completely
at the heart of this call, since they are focussing on data
(collections) and data reuse, whereas SMW is mainly a data
provider/authoring system. It is not easy to find a concrete individual
use of SMW that generates a dataset that is significant enough to run
against very large, e.g. government created, data collections or
data-based information portals. I do not think that thousands of small
datasets from unconnected topic areas would have a chance in this
contest, so one would have to enter a particular SMW-application, or
show some more reuse of external data within SMW.

That said, we are happy to support concrete proposals if someone has an
idea how to best approach this.

Cheers,

Markus

Achieve unprecedented app performance and reliability
What every C/C++ and Fortran developer should know.
Learn how Intel has extended the reach of its next-generation tools
to help boost performance applications - inlcuding clusters.
