Yes, that fixed the problem.
I changed the error reporting back to include E_STRICT & then replaced
the SMW_SpecialBrowse.php & SMW_SpecialSearchByProperty.php from
trunk. Reran, no error.
(I currently running SMW from the "last stable" rather than trunk, but
that doesn't seem to make a difference in this case.)
