I have been modifying smw 1.7, 1.8 and 1.9 to honor
$wgCapitalLinks=false for the Property namespace. I had to modify 6 files:
SMW_DV_Property, SMW_DV_PropertyList, SMW_DV_Types, SMW_GlobalFunctions,
SMW_QueryParser, SMW_SemanticData.
I had no/zero troubles in this regard, and I'm finally getting around to
modifying 2.1 in the same manner...
But now I am seeing in 2.1 /* I'd like to have a discussion about this
decision */

I've looked at

If |$wgCapitalLinks| = false [0] then annotations like |[[has type::
... ]]| will fail because of the inactive conversion rule |has ->
Has| [1].
I certainly think that it is the *annotation* that has the problem --
not the SMW codebase!!!
I'd like to see SMW permanently modified to honor $wgCapitalLinks for
the property namespace, at a minimum, but also (a) the Category
namespace and (b) the Concept namespace.
