SMW's compatibility with MW is described by successfully passing the tests on the required platform (MW version, DB version, Triplestore etc.) and the reason for a "unresolved MediaWiki issues" with MW 1.25 is that the API changed and some of our tests don't pass anymore [0]. Someone needs to take the time to fix those tests (I don't have time) before we can stick the compatibility label on MW 1.25.
