For background, see [0]. I noticed that when editing a page using
PageForms, any fields with no values are stripped from the page during the
page save. This behavior is different than when editing the page "by
source" (stock MediaWiki).

Yaron recommended I bring the conversation from the extension discussion
page to a mailing list to get more opinions. Does anyone have good
rationale for PageForms to strip empty template fields from a page upon
revision?

To me, it's distracting and it clutters the diff view. I also don't like
the idea of removing potential data points that might be entered by someone
who chooses to use source or VE to edit the page.

Please share your thoughts.
