Well. The ParserHook patch is almost mandatory for normal operation of SMW. 
Without it, you loose semantic templates. But additionally, things like 
HTML-comments and <nowiki> will also partially fail with SMW syntax, and 
hyperlinks in the factbox will always have the weird &nbsp;-ending. More 
oddities may occur. So everybody should apply this patch.
