Hi,

I'm new to SMW.
When I try to perform an inline query at Special:Ask, I'm getting the
following error :
Database error
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in
the software. The last attempted database query was: (SQL query
hidden) from within function "SMW::InlineQuery". MySQL returned error
"1267: Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and
(latin1_bin,IMPLICIT) for operation '=' (localhost)".

My tables all have collation latin1_swedish_ci (a default at my provider).

I assume this problem could be resolved two ways : either the SMW
default collation should be changed, or I should change my tables.
I would prefer the former. Is there a configuration variable I can
change somewhere ?
I've looked in SMW_Settings.php and SMW_InlineQueries.php, but didn't find it.

Thanks,

Luc
