Hello,
o Tichner, Jeromy E (US SSA) [01/07/09 16:06]:
We are trying to configure SER/SEM for conference calls but we have a
unique scenario in which we want a user to be able to call into a
conference without a second user being required (pre-defined conference
calls). This is similar to a teleconference dial-in number that is
always available and on, whether or not anyone else is on the conference
call. We do not want anyone to have to initiate the conference but be
able to hit a speed-dial key an be placed into a conference whether or
not there are other users on the call.
How would this be implemented using SEM? Can this even be done?
this is the standard dial-in conference scenario. just set up SEMS to
start the 'conference' application. example sems.conf settings:
application=conference
load_plugins=wav;sipctrl;session_timer;conference;wav;gsm;speex;adpcm;l16;
best use the 1.1 RC1 package:
http://ftp.iptel.org/pub/sems/1.1/rc1/src/sems-1.1.0-rc1.tar.gz
then send your call to SEMS server's host:port with the room number/name
as the RURI user part.
BR
Stefan
