Good to see you're back! It was quiet for a while on this mailing list :-)
So if I understand you correctly it's possible to receive an 180 RINGING
+ SDP from an upstream proxy? I was not aware of that possibility. Is
the same scenario possible for other Call Progress (18x) or Error
responses (4xx/5xx/6xx)?
It should not be too hard to add this functionality. However, I'm not
able to test this scenario, so if I build it, it will remain untested...
Do you want an additional patch or a complete new patch, including the
previous patch?

thanks for the patch. Should it maybe also relay the 180 if
!reply.body.empty()? Sometimes RBT is sent in early media with 180.

example in Click2Dial.cpp) Default behavior is off...
Since I'm using rel_1.1.0_rc1 (from tags) I created a patch against
that. That's the patch I've tested and proven to work. For your
convenience I've also created a patch against trunk, but I didn't
test that.
