Dear all,

I was wondering if any of you had any experience in using (open source) SIP monitoring tools? I'm looking for a tool that would give me insight in the history of calls and the currently active calls.

In my search I found SipSpy which comes very close to what I'm looking for. What I like most about this is that it's not depending on any specific SIP application (SER, SEMS, Asterisk, etc.), but it uses libpcap to monitor network traffic and is capable of filtering SIP traffic and correlates Dialog-IDs and Transaction IDs. It's also a distributed system with agents on each node and one (or more) central admin applications with a graphical UI. However it's not promoted as a operational monitoring tool, but more as a developer tool...

Does any of you have any experience in using SipSpy (positive or negative)? Is there anything similar (or better) available as open source?

Thanks in advance,

Tom
