Stefan,
Correct me if I am wrong, but the B2BUA is used for call control, it
sits in the middle of the call.
Can a B2BUA fork the call and manage multiple branches or is the B2BUA
a one to one relationship?
Meaning is the B2BUA creating the branches or is it just bridging one
existing branch with a newly created branch?
you can fork at the b2b, but usually you don't need to be dialog
stateful, so you usually use a (transaction stateful) proxy for that.
real call forking you can do only while the call is being established.
if you want to do things like (e.g. entering a pin), you need to
establish calls at the callee side. whether you then call that a b2bua
is matter of taste, but i would rather see that as voip app server. and
to implement it, in sems you rather use conference module, than the B2B
classes.
