Hi,

Hi guys,
At the moment I’m reading some docs about sems to have an idea what it
is and what it’s capable of. Some questions rise:
- I see there’s support for MySQL, is (or will) there support
for postgres and/or sqlite too?
mysql support is in DSM mod_mysql; there is at the moment no postgres
or sqlite support, but if you look at the code in mod_mysql it should
be pretty straightforward to implement. I guess though that the use
cases for sqlite and postgres are very different. What's yours?
- There’s no support for G.729 out-of-the-box. Is there a known
working situation where G.729 is used? And how easy will it be to
integrate this codec.
There is support for G729 by using Intel IPP, see core/plug-in/g729.
You will need to get the codec license separately, though.
Best Regards
Stefan

Erik
