this sounds like you haven't configured xlite properly for your SIP
provider/proxy.
Are you using iptel.org SIP service? At http://iptel.org/service there
is a description how to configure it; basically just set iptel.org as
domain and your user name and password, it will then probably figure
out properly what the domain is.
Note that you need *two* accounts at the server - one that xlite
registers to, one that SEMS registers to. When both are properly
registered, then from xlite call the other account.
