Hi!
The announced merge has been now done. Please do not expect the master
branch to be as stable and functional as 1.4.1 in the next days/weeks.
On the other hand, the faster everything is tested, bugs reported, the
faster we can repair everything and extend the features with the next
release ahead of us. The rough plan is to have the next release at the
beginning of autumn (beginning of winter-semester at university).
Best regards,
Raphael.

Hi *!
Stefan and I have now decided to merge the offer_answer branch
(rco/offer_answer) into master as fast as possible.
The main feature contained there is the full support for any type of
offer/answer scenarios. But this is not the only change. The way
AmSession and AmSipDialog interact with each other has been reworked,
and will further evolve after the merge. Those changes do have
implications for most applications, as the application plugin API had
to be adapted.
Whereby it should now quite well at the core, not all the applications
have been fully tested. This means that we will need your support to
test your favorite scenarios, and help us fix all the issues which
might arise.
The changes for scripted application should be fairly small, and we
will try to minimize the impact. Applications based on the C++ API
might need more porting effort. Please let us know if you have any
issue with this. Once the code gets stable and functional enough, we
will also write a porting guide, thus showing a clear path from 1.4.1
to the next release.
Best regards
Raphael.
