I want to create a DSM script which handles an incoming INVITE
without SDP offer. I have the following problems with this.
The run_invite_event config variable doesn't seem to have
any effect: The invite event is run no matter what. This would
be fine, if I knew how to go on with the invite event, which doesn't
contain any SDP. Is the sessionStart event supposed to run when
the invite event is enabled? If not, how do I know when the ACK
with SDP has arrived?
this has changed with the rewritten offer/answer implementation,
session start is now decoupled from the INVITE - it can happen when
INVITE with SDP is received, or when ACK with SDP is received.
The invite event is processed when the INVITE is received. When the
session starts (in your case ACK with SDP received), the sessionStart
is processed.
