 Can you guide me on how to tell if sems and ser are connected together. 
> We are working at NNMC on a VOIP Project, we tested our Budge Tone-200 
> phone and it is giving us 404 error, which means the server is not

404 error is usually used for "Not found" - have a look at your ser 
script.

maybe another SEMS instance?

so what are the lines in question? increase debug level and look at 
the ser.cfg you are using.
