A joint session between the governments of Serbia and Hungary, held in
Subotica on 15 April, was used to sign a memorandum on military-technical
co-operation that aims to further improve the bilateral defence affiliation
between Belgrade and Budapest, which has already significantly intensified
over the past two years.

The memorandum calls for the implementation of joint projects in the field
of weapons and military equipment, with a focus on mutual development and
production of land systems and sophisticated weapons for combat aircraft as
well as the joint modernisation of older generation defence systems used by
the armed forces of both countries.
