An election campaign poster of Milorad Pupovac, local Serb leader and his
Independent Democratic Serb Party in Zagreb were sprayed with messages:
“Slaughter Serb children” and “Kill a Serb,” N1 reported on Tuesday.

Pupovac's poster reads “Born in Croatia,” with the word born written in Serbian
Cyrillic letters.

The poster was also sprayed with the symbols of Ustashas, Croatian Nazi
collaborators during the WW II.

Pupovac commented on the messages on his Facebook profile: “Zagreb is my city.
The city of my children, my students and my friends. The city that gave me as
much as my parents. The city which I give as much as children give to their
parents. That is not my Zagreb’s message.”

He added that Zagreb was also Zagreb written both in Latin alphabet and in
Cyrillic.
