Asked whether the Washington Agreement will still be valid if Biden wins, Dacic
said that the United States is a strategic partner for Serbia and that Serbia

The Serbian National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic
<https://www.telegraf.rs/teme/ivica-dacic> says that the president of Serbia,
Aleksandar Vucic, will, if a change occurs in the US administration, find a way
for Serbia to have good relations with that country.

He told Kopernikus TV that it is not up to Serbia to make certain assessments
of candidates, but that the Trump administration undoubtedly had a more
positive attitude.

"Regardless of who becomes president, Serbia will continue to have good
relations with America. Biden also met with President Vucic several times, he
came here three times to visit," said Dacic.

Asked whether the Washington Agreement would remain in force if Joseph Biden
wins the US presidential election, Dacic said that the United States is a
strategic partner for Serbia and that Serbia signed the agreement regardless of
who the president of the United States is.

"We shouldn't gloat"

Commenting on the indictments against high-ranking officials of the former KLA,
Dacic said that Serbia can only welcome the fact that the court has started
working on its obligation - to put on trial the crimes committed by the KLA
against Serbs.

He said that in the last year, there was great pressure from Pristina to
abolish that court and bring it from The Hague to Pristina, while Serbia, in
his opinion, has been constructive in the investigation of war crimes,
regardless of who committed them.

Dacic said that there are five (mass) graves in Kosovo and Metohija, which are
pointed out to by the investigative bodies from central Serbia, but that no one
reacts to it.

"Crimes committed against Serbs should be punished. We should not gloat, but
allow the prosecution and the court do their job," said Dacic.
