NIN editor: Fall of Montenegro's govt could lead to bigger crisis in the country

The editor of the weekly NIN, Zoran Preradovic, told N1 that the fall of the
government of Zdravko Krivokapic in Montenegro is not surprising but is likely
to result in an even bigger crisis in the country, while Vijesti journalist
Danijela Lasica said early elections in Montenegro can be expected within a
year.

Preradovic said that he understood the political ambition of the former Deputy
Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovic, but argued that his ambition was
completely disproportionate to his strength, which was four MPs in the Assembly.

He argued that Abazovic’s URA movement could have „some deal“ with Milo
Djukanovic’s DPS, because a possible minority government depends on
“Djukanovic’s mercy.”

„That government will be unstable, it depends on the DPS MPs. It is not
difficult to conclude that the Democratic Front will get something, probably
some seats in the governing boards that are quite lucrative. We will see if
Abazovic will manage to do anything. My impression is that early elections are
happening in Montenegro very soon „, said Preradovic.
