The US and European Union envoys for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue said on
Thursday that they had a difficult and long meeting with Serbian President
Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade.

Deputy Assistant US State Secretary Gabriel Escobar and EU Special
Representative Miroslav Lajcak met Vucic in Belgrade after visiting Pristina
for talks with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

A Twitter post by the US Embassy Belgrade quoted Escobar as saying that the
meeting with Vucic was tough and long. “We appreciate the President’s
commitment to peace and stability. The work continues,” he said.

DAS Escobar: Tough and long meeting just now with President Vucic. We
appreciate the President’s commitment to peace and stability. The work
continues.

Eskobar: Težak i dug sastanak sa predsednikom Vučićem. Cenimo posvećenost
predsednika miru i stabilnosti. Nastavljamo dalje.
