military experience. He is a graduate of West Point Military Academy, and he
holds an MA in comparative politics and a PhD in international relations from
the University of Virginia. Colonel Macgregor is widely known in the US,
Europe, Israel, Russia, China and Korea for his groundbreaking books on

“Transformation Under Fire” (Praegar, 2003).
