NEW YORK CITY — As the United Nations General Assembly convenes in New York,
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is scheduled to engage in a series of
bilateral meetings with world leaders.

On Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 11 a.m. EST, President Vučić will deliver
his address at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store during some of the significant gatherings
in the Big Apple.

The week’s opening event is the reception hosted by German Chancellor Olaf
Scholz, set for Monday evening.

President Vučić will hold discussions with the Secretary-General of the United
Nations, Antonio Guterres, emphasizing Serbia’s role as a committed member of
the global community.

Among the confirmed meetings, President Vučić is scheduled to have one-on-one
meetings with world leaders, including the President of the Swiss
Confederation, Alain Berset; the President of the Republic of Korea, Jun
Sok-yol; the President of the Republic of Suriname, Chandrikapersad Santokhi;
and the Vice-President of the European Commission, Maroš Šefčovič.

President Vučić’s participation also includes a separate meeting with the
Special Representative of the European Union for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue
and other regional issues in the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajčák.

Noteworthy is the informal luncheon hosted by the High Representative of the
European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of
the European Commission, Josep Borrell. This gathering will bring together
leaders of the Western Balkans, including President Vučić, promising to promote
dialogue and mutual understanding in a relaxed yet diplomatic atmosphere.

President Vučić will remain in New York until Friday, September 22, 2023.
