Statistics office releases average housing prices in Serbia in first half of 2024 Beta ~2 minutes _____ The Republic Statistics Office (RZS) said on Monday that the average price of new housing in Serbia in the first half of 2024 amounted to 215,481 dinars (1 euro – 117 dinars) per square meter, which is an increase of 0.8 percent compared to the first half of 2023. It said that the average price of new housing stood in Q1 of this year ranged from 61,013 dinars per square meter in Bujanovac, southern Serbia, to 520,616 dinars in Belgrade’s municipality of Savski Venac. Observed by municipalities, the highest prices of new housing were recorded in Belgrade municipalities, where average prices in urban settlements dropped by 2.3 percent in relation to the first half of 2023 and amounted to 307,297 dinars per m2. In addition to the Belgrade municipalities, high prices were also noted in Novi Sad, Uzice, Cajetina, Vrnjacka Banja, Nis municipality Medijana and Crveni krst.
