Vucic posts Trump message supporting Belgrade N1 Belgrade ~2 minutes _____ President Aleksandar Vucic published what he said is a message from US President Donald Trump for Serbian Statehood Day which said Washington fully supports Belgrade’s integration in the Euro-Atlantic space. The message, posted on Vucic’s Instagram profile, quoted Trump as saying that “in the year ahead, I look forward to our work together to increase stability and economic development in the Western Balkans”. “The US fully supports Serbia’s continuing integration with the Euro-Atlantic space and efforts to promote peaceful and prosperous relations with your neighbors and partners in the region,” it added. The message also expressed President Trump’s pleasure with what he called “our increased coordination and the resulting new bilateral investment opportunities in important sectors like technology and energy”.
