BELGRADE - Russia's Gazprom neft and the Russian-Serbian oil company NIS, alongside the Serbian government, continue to supply Serbia with fuels also after the October 9 entry into force of US sanctions on NIS, Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko said on Monday. "In cooperation with the Serbian government and its partners here, Gazprom neft has ensured flawless operations of NIS even during the period of sanctions. No consumer has felt even the slightest negative impact - be they individual consumers, large consumers such as the agricultural sector or (national airline) Air Serbia," Botsan-Kharchenko noted in a statement to Sputnik. NIS has continued and continues to meet all its commitments and operate without obstructions in Serbia, supplying the market with products of very high quality, he said.
