If I have been paying attention correctly, the "E" in ECU stands for
"engine". There is also a �TCU? (I believe it is called) that is for
the transmission.
IIRC, there is a TCU, ECU, and then some type of central computing
system as well. I believe that the tranny swap would require the
changing of the "TCU" and not the ECU, but like I have said before, I'm
no engine guy. This is what my brain is telling me that I have read
somewhere.
