hello
my car stalled on me again today
so i took it off and cleaned it thoroughly, spraying and rubbing off all the
soot (which i didn't do last time)
i also checked the voltage across the solenoid
the manual says it should be within 50-100 ohms
but i got 107 ohms
would this mean that it is bad?
i also tried to reset the ecu, doing it the proper way by turning the screw
on the ecu
i get a code of 2long, 5 short, which is the iacv/aac valve
just to make sure i did it right, i turned the ignition to on, turned the
screw clockwise, waited for minutes actually, then returned it to
counter-clockwise, then i shut ignition off.
i waited a little, and turned the car on, and the engine light stayed on
again
so i'm thinking of replacing the solenoid, but would like some opinions
first
thanx a lot
