Do you have an SE-R immediately available to you
 for a reasonable price? Or were you suggesting the
SR20 engine swap.  If you can get ahold of a SR20DE
then that will certainly increase your torque. As far as your
current engine goes, cold air intake would would be the first
significant improvement you would notice a little more bottom
end torque with that on your GA.The TB would be the next add on
once you have the CAI. Then I would make a way for all the incoming
air to exit, so short of a valve job, I would get new headers and some
cat back exhaust. After that, I would get the pulleys, maybe a computer
upgrade. Then all that's left is a turbo and cams. Which if you are Diy
type,
you can remove it yourself or with the help of a friend some weekend before
your emissions test. If you have headers, you can swap them back on with
ease
and drive right to the testing facility and back home to remove them and pop
the
turbo back on.
