Well for one thing, the POP has a velocity stack which cuts down on 
turbulence of air going into the MAF.  It is a really nice looking machined 
piece.  If you look at the stock airbox, it has one too.  It is a goldish 
color.  Haven't seen any dyno tests between having a velocity stack and not 
having one though.
