They have slightly stiffer springs than the XE or SE. What type of wheels and tires do you have? Heavier wheels ride worse (especially heavy 16" or 17"+ chrome wheels), as do lower profile tires. And lastly, just 5 psi of tire pressure or so can make a HUGE difference. I personally like a car with sharper reflexes and will run my tire pressures at about 36 psi front and 32 psi rear. Dropping them down to 28 front and 26 rear makes the car ride MUCH smoother (I do this if I go to visit my parents and take them out to dinner, they are not quite as appreciative of improved handling!)
