My girlfriend's SC2 shit the bed on the way home from our vacation last
week. Major motor work is needed to the car in order to get it back on
the street (lil over $1700, and Saturn is paying another $900).
Anyways...with things like this going through the internet, I hope that
Nissan really steps up to the plate in the next couple of years. If
Saturn can make a 1.9L turbo w/181hp, then Nissan (and other companies)
might want to watch out for the domestics here in the states.
I don't know how much of what I just stated is true because I can't get
these damn webpages to open up for me, but here is the humorous e-mail
sent to me by my g/f:
<<Hmmm whats this a 2001 Saturn SC "Turbo"....a bucket???....i think
not. When I get this car, this so called "bucket" will kick ur f@ckin'
ass. WOW 181 hp compared to what...oh yeah you have like a 109 or
something just barely into the three digits. oh yeah 1.9 liter...oohh
laa laa....and you like those 16 inch on the Celica's well try 18" on
this bad boy. You better check this site out....THIS WILL BE MY CAR. and
I will kick ur foofy lil Nissans ass......punk......LMAO love you baby

I'm constantly ragging her about how her 1.9L SC2 gets stomped by my
GA16 on a regular basis. I'm either going to have to get the turbo set
up for my 200SX, or that Y2K Celica that I've been wanting. There's no
way I'm going to let her "foofy" lil Saturn beat me....lol.
BTW: I know this is merely chat orientated, so if there are any replies,
please send them to me personally or take it to the HotBodies list. I
think I've eaten enough space up with this email.
BTWP2: Can Scott or Yannick please set up a chatting list for us? I know
the SE-R guys have one, but that's for them. I think it would be cool if
we had one of our own :-) It would save on some of the subjects....like
the age thread and the such. If not, I don't care if we use the
HotBodies list that I have already created for now :-)
