Of course.. Right....  Give that distributor a whirl until you hear pinging
and then turn back a notch.
Exactly how much HP do you expect to gain anyways. Has anyone bothered to
dyno this yet?
Did you consider if your car is equipped with a knock sensor you may not
even notice it pinging cuz the ECU would be retarding the timing anyways?
You really shouldn't be eye balling stuff when working on cars anyways. Do
it right with the proper tools.
