Ben just ran a 10.5@135 mph in testing for the Battle at Firebird Raceway about 10 minutes ago. Suspension problems cause him to lift twice during the run and he coasted thru the lights! He is heading towards my house and we are going to burn the midnight oil to work the suspension to get the car to go straight. Unfortunatly the Battle is only a 1/8 mile track but the payouts are huge and all of the big guns are going to be there. The car ran a 1.6 60 foot so it should be ok in the 1/8. Ben says the car can spin 1st through 5th gear! The bigger slicks that he had on order did not show up either :-( The car easily has 140 mph and low 10's in it. This is with the revised JWT 72 lb injector program, very conservativly tuned and a few turbo tweeks and a water to air intercooler. Perhaps the car might even be able to get into the 9's as the boost was pretty low. Pretty amazing that this is still mostly an off the shelf F-Max kit with a water to air intercooler and it actualy still has a streetable powerband!
