I pretty much got all of the floor soundproofing done today and reinstalled
the carpet. I was reassembling the center console so I decided to do a trial
install of the headunit to see how it might look.
Unfortunately Pioneer only supplied this sheetmetal sleeve like thing and
very general directions on installing the thing.
Do I need a special bracket to install heaunits on our cars? I obviously
can't use the sleeve to install the deck. There is no place to screw the
headunit directly to center console either.
So, the only logical thing I can come up with is a bracket that screws to
the headunit and then screw down to the center console.
Does Nissan have one of these things?
Someone enlighten me...
