I am new to the whole audio scene and I need to ask for some opinions. I
have the factory speakers in my car and I have the double din cd/cassette
head unit from a maxima in my car with the cd changer. I want to add some
bass and boom to my system. Not too much, but I do listen to hip hop and rap
and every once in a while I like to crank my system.
I was about to have 2 10's installed in my car and a 600 watt 2 channel amp.
(I didn't want 12's because they took up too much trunk space). Do you think
this is enough to push my system or should I get a 4 channel amp? Also,
should the amp be used to push the speakers, as well as the sub or do I need
the amp to just push the sub? I'm not too sure on how a sub is wired.
I am a complete literate to this stuff so any feedback will be appreciated.
The guy wanted to give me a Sony 10" box (2) and a Kenwood KAC 728S amp with
an installed price of $600. What do you think?
