I smoked my OEM clutch tonight. This happened doin some racing of course. When all was said and done, I could smell it from a mile away and the clutch pedal got real soft and mushy. Smelled very similar to someone that keeps the E-brake engaged while driving. The car has 112k mi on it and was showing previous signs of slippage. Now I get no hard accelleration. I plan on ordering a new clutch this week, but I need the opinion of some GA16DE experts on which kit to order. From what I have heard, ACT is the way to go. Anyways, please refer a kit and a shop, telephone #, or website that I could order my clutch kit from.
