I have a 92 with auto. Sure the auto doesn't have the pickup off the line as
the manual, but I have much more power when its kicked down. I have a Gen 1
hotshot header, 2 1/4 exhaust, stock ignition and magnecore wires, Hotshot
CAI. Advancing the timing helps too. When I kick it doen it flys, hold each
gear up to 5400 and it feels like a stick. I had a JWT ECU attached before
and that made some power, but it didn't work the tranny converter, so I had
to dump it. But the power was good. I plan to modify the valve body,
rebuild with new seals and a hi-po torque converter. That will hold the
turbo when I do that. The answer is they make power even in autos. at
least in the 92.
