Since it seems some members have been having problems with their
battery/alternator, I now have a question. How reliable are the alternators
on our cars? I've got over 150K on my '91 B13, original battery and
alternator, and have yet to experience any problems. Not trying to brag or
anything, just curious. I couldn't find much info in the FAQ's, nor on the
SE-R archives. I don't want to jinx my luck, but it seems that either one is
gonna need replacing soon.
