I'm not sure I'm using the correct terminology here but do you think
that maybe there would be an advantage to making it so that the POP
charger smoths out the airflow AFTER the MAF?  I'm not an aerospace
engineer but I'd assume a large object protruding into the middle of an
airflow would add a fair bit of turbulence.
