CPooh asks:
<<hey i want to do the swap on a 98 200sx 1.6L for a jap engine(a sunny
gti-r engine) which it comes with wire harness, tranny, ecu! but i still
not sure if i should get it? i'm worry about if htis will fit and what
else would i need to change so nothing would get ruin! if anybody out
there knows anything about this swap please let me know!>>

The swap is totally possible and has been done before.

I hope you know how to do the swap, b/c I believe that the entire cost
of the swap is upwards around $5k if you have it done by a "pro". Labor
charges are the most of it.

Also, you want to make sure that the GTi-R engine that you are getting
is in excellent shape, as I think that the last of the GTi-Rs were made
in the early '90s.

This is the part that I believe needs to be cleared up:
Isn't the Sunny and the GTi-R different cars? I know there is a Sunny
SSS, and there is a Pulsar GTi-R. Both are turbos in the J-spec models,
but I believe them to be different engines...or is it just different
cars?

Still trying to get all his facts straight,
