Turboing is a different story. The sizes of the MAF are about the same
although some years of GA have a bigger MAF than some years of SE-R. Unless
your car is capable of pulling more than 5.1 volts of MAF voltage at WOT at
the torque peak, then a bigger MAF will not do squat. Only going turbo will
do that.
