Yes, I don't see any reason why it could not be done. I'm sure you'll get
your fair amount of list members asking you why in the world you would want
to change over from a stick shift to an automatic transmission. One person
that I know of on the Sentra Net list who has changed an automatic
transmission Sentra to an stick shift Sentra is Fred, so he may be able to
give you some pointers, but I don't remember reading any messages from him in
the last few days so maybe he's just coasting in the back ground some place
just reading messages. Front time to time there are list members who ask the
question "What do I need to change over from an automatic transmission to a
stick shifter" so if your not in a super big hurry to do the change over you
might luck out and find a Sentra net list member who wants to make the change
over to a stick type transmission and if your really lucky you'll both have
the same year and model Sentras so it would just be a matter of setting up a
time and place and helping each other with the change over of the
trasmissions and I would guess it would just be a remove and replace for the
both of you. If you'll wait long enough I'm sure the year and model will turn
up for you right her on the Sentra net. Or here's a thought there just might
be a Sentra net list member who already has changed out a automatic
trasmission for a stick shifter and still has the parts you'll need laying
around and you two can work something out.
