Please be careful if you do it this way.  You will dump unburned fuel into
the cat and destroy it very quickly.  If you want to check the injectors
pull the wiring harness off the injectors one at a time to find a cylinder
that is not firing, that won't hurt anything.  You could use an inductive
timing light to make sure a plug is firing, or just pull them one at a time
and replace them with a known good plug or wire.  It may seem like a pain in
the ass, but compare $25-30 for new platinum plugs to a $700 cat.

I had the same problem with my '91 ga16.  Pull off one spark plug wire at a
time, with the engine running, until you find the cylinder that isn't
firing.  Once you find it checked for a spark.  If you have a spark, replace
the injector.  But be careful with reman fuel injectors, i went through 3 in
two days until i got one that worked right.  Good luck
